Hi, I’m Coryna.
I am a maker. A Hungarian-Canadian, traveller, global citizen, artist.
I hold an Honours B.A. in History and am the designer, writer, photographer, and editor at heathcoteroad.co.uk
I have been knitting from the age of 6. I also crochet, spin, dye, sew, cross stitch, embroider, needlepoint, rug hook, and quilt.
Some of my non-fibre creative pursuits include yoga, painting, card-making, pottery, and cooking tasty and nutritious foods.
Classic elegance and practicality are the qualities that I try to bring to my designs, and sometimes a touch of whimsy!
My favourite fashion period is the World War II era, and I have a great fondness for all things Japanese.
As an historian, I am committed to preserving traditional technologies. In this digital age, I feel that it is important to know how to make real things, tangible items made with love that have lasting value and aesthetic beauty.
